The Victory is in God’s Right Hand- The One Holding Yours!

Isaiah 41:10  Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.  Don’t be discouraged for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you.  I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.  Don’t be discouraged for I am your God.”

That should be enough said from God to still our minds.

With these admonitions, we should be able to play out, in our minds, all the promises from God and all the ways he has helped us previously.  When we go through trying times it helps to repeat these two lines over and over.

God doesn’t stop there.  He continues by saying he will strengthen and helps us, he will hold us up with his victorious right hand.

In the Bible, the right hand was symbolic of power and authority.  When it is mentioned pertaining to God it stands for omnipotence- which is a big word that means unlimited power. God’s right hand is all powerful without any limits.  His right hand will always have the victory.  It is through this unlimited power and guaranteed victory that God will rescue us in times of doubt, uncertainty, pain and disillusionment.

Through Christ’s amazing power, we, too, are seated at God’s right hand.  God grants us to have a power-filled and victorious life.  To embody that power and victory in your life all you need to do is ask, be grateful, and joyfully receive God’s blessing in your life.

He wants you to be aware of his 24/7 presence with you.  He wants you to know he stands by, ready to see you through to brighter days.  He has the victory ready to give you through his unlimited power which he shares with you through Grace.  Today meditate on this one reason to lean on God.

Until Next Time~
Blessings, Kate
