Luke 12:6-7 ICB When five sparrows are sold, they cost only two pennies. But God does not forget any of them. Yes, God even knows how many hairs you have on your head. Don’t be afraid. You are worth much more than many sparrows.
God cares for even the smallest of creatures. We take them for granted and we sometimes mistakenly think God takes us for granted. But that is not the case. He knows everything about us.
Jesus tells us we pray to “our Father who art in heaven.” A father, a good father, knows his children well. He loves them. He would give up his life for them. And that’s exactly what God did through Jesus Christ. God did not ransom us with money for the price that others can earn. He ransomed us with his own flesh and blood. There is no greater love than this: John 15:13 “Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends”.
John 15:15 “I have never called you servants because a master doesn’t confide in his servants, and servants don’t always understand what the master is doing but I call you my most intimate friends, for I reveal to you everything that I’ve heard from my Father.”
God sees us as worthy to be his heirs.
James 2:5 Listen my dear brothers! God chose the poor in the world to be rich with faith. He chose them to receive the kingdom God promised to people who love him. God, your father cares about you. He sees what’s going on. He hears your prayers. His heart breaks when yours does. Hold onto the hope that is yet to come.
