We are to confess our sins to each other & we are to pray for each other.

James 5:16  Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other.  Do this so that God can heal you.  When a good man prays, great things happen.

When a good man prays- great things happen.

What an affirmation of how important prayer is for one another. Through it we can be healed- healed physically as well as mentally, spiritually, and emotionally.

Perhaps your discomfort today is not caused by sin directly.  But have you sinned because of your troubles.  Are you harboring anger, resentment, or mean and harmful thoughts about God or others? Are you turning the anger against yourself and dealing with depression as a result?  Do you have unconfessed thoughts or actions that are filling you with guilt?

Confess these things to others who are in a safe place.  You need a respite and you won’t get that by carelessly confiding in just anyone.  Don’t waste what is holy on people who are unholy.  Don’t cast your pearls before swine.  If you do they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.  (Matthew 7:6.)

We all need someone safe to see us through life’s ups and downs. I know there are many people who are physically or emotionally alone.  This is not good.  We need each other.  We need each other’s prayers.  Develop relationships in real life and online in a community with other believers.  Let others pray for you.  Let the healing begin to take place in your life.

I am always here to pray for you. Contact me anytime on my contact page to directly email me a private message.

Until Next Time~
Blessings, Kate

  1. Hello again sister, you’ve been of great comfort to me in our history, and I thank you that you are still being a fellow suffering-servant to others. Peace of Christ to you, dear one.
It is a gift of love to be the arms, ears, mouth, eyes, shoulder, feet and back to those in need. Indeed, we’re the only Jesus some will ever see.
