Prov 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.
What path are you in need of today?
A path to health and wholeness? A path to financial stability? A path out of grief, anger, depression or regret?
Whatever the situation is, we do not have to wrack our minds trying to figure everything out perfectly. Besides, when is the last time something you figured out went just as planned?
Thank God, literally, that we are not left on our own to pull ourselves up from the darkness. We have a trustworthy ally ready to take on our needs and direct us to the best possible outcome.
Today it is important that you surrender your hopes, plans, dreams, schemes, wishes, and wants.
Surrender all to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Let your very next step be the one the Father suggests you take.
Sure, it is hard to disengage from our emotions. We want what we want- when we want it- the way we want it. But sometimes we have to give what we want to another person in order to receive it back into our lives. We don’t want, nor feel like, getting out of ourselves to be a blessing when we need a blessing. The Bible says in Luke 6:3 “Give and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full, pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back”.
Today, whatever the need on your heart– give it all to God. Let Him direct your path–even if He requires you to give when you are in need…the blessings will pour back out onto you.
