Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
Is that hard to believe right now when life is difficult and/or hurts?
Yet, it is a fact– not a feeling.
Often times it is hard to accept the truths of the Bible when life is bleak and dark.
Some seasons are miserable, dreary, and inhospitable, yet God has not left us. God is behind the scenes and He will work things for the good. We can ask for revelation on just how that’s going to happen. He may or may not let us know but 1 thing I know is this: God will heal your heart and mind no matter what you are going through. It is a big order but our God is better. “Jesus looked at them intently and said, ‘Humanly speaking, It is impossible’ But with God everything is possible.” Matthew 19:26 Today cling to this Biblical promise. (Try to) Rest in His grace and peace. Cling to the hope which is your salvation.
Romans 8: 24-30 For this is the hope of our salvation. But hope means that we must trust and wait for what is still unseen. For why would we need to hope for something we already have?
So because our hope is set on what is yet to be seen, we patiently keep on waiting for its fulfillment.
And in a similar way, the Holy Spirit takes hold of us in our human frailty to empower us in our weakness. For example, at times we don’t even know how to pray or know the best things to ask for. But the Holy Spirit rises up within us to super-intercede on our behalf, pleading to God with emotional sighs too deep for words.
God, the searcher of the heart, knows fully our longings, yet he also understands the desires of the Spirit, because the Holy Spirit passionately pleads before God for us, his holy ones, in perfect harmony with God’s plan and our destiny.
So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together for good, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose. For he knew all about us before we were born and he destined us from the beginning to share the likeness of his Son. This means the Son is the oldest among a vast family of brothers and sisters who will become just like him.
Having determined our destiny ahead of time, he called us to himself and transferred his perfect righteousness to everyone he called. And those who possess his perfect righteousness he co-glorified with his Son!
Until Next Time~
Amen! Hope is indeed alive in the Resurrection of our Savior. When life’s dark trials attempt to overwhelm us, may we forsake the evil one’s empty promises.
