Isaiah 40:31 NLT But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.
New strength, that is what you might be looking for today, whether life hit the fan this morning, last night or last year- “Come mighty strength come. Come see me through this day, through the next few hours. Bring me some relief.” We cry out from deep in our souls. “I trust you Lord. In you I place my trust and my day; my life. Hear me now. Do not turn your ear from me.”
Ps 62: 1-2 TPT : “I stand silently to listen for the one I love, waiting as long as it takes for the Lord to rescue me. For God alone has become my Savior. He alone is my safe place; his wrap-around presence always protects me. For he is my champion defender; there’s not risk of failure with God. So why would I let worry paralyze me, even when troubles multiply around me?”
Psalm 62:5 TPT I am standing in absolute stillness, silent before the one I love, wanting as long as it takes for him to rescue me. Only God is my Savior, and he will not fail me.
Psalm 62:8 TPT (Join me, everyone!) “Trust only in God every moment! Tell him all your troubles and pour out your heart-longings to him. Believe me when I tell you- he will help you!”
We can make the moment by moment choice to hand our burdens and troubles over to the Lord. We can surrender them for 5 minutes at a time, refusing to dwell and think about them for 5-10 minutes. Then another 5-10 minutes. We work ourselves up to letting God hold our sorrows for 30-60 minutes at a time. During such time we can walk in a lightness that will allow us to temporarily soar if we let ourselves. It is ok to soar during difficult times. Allow for it today.
Until Next Time~
Blessings, Kate
