Let others pray for you- do not give up

Do not quit. Let others pray for you. God will make a way through what you are experiencing. This too shall pass.

In my lifetime, 51 years, nine friends have chosen to end their lives. In the thick of it, they believed they would never make it through their circumstances.

I realize, how much, my life has changed over the decades. Not just for me– but for everyone. Life is constantly changing. We can learn to cope with almost everything. It may not be easy but a rough or ugly patch is not worth giving up the days, weeks, years ahead of you on the other side.

Life isn’t pretty sometimes. That is why we are called to live it in unity with others. Life can be emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually too much to handle alone at times.

The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 (NLT)” Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back to back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple braided cord is not easily broken.”

This highest thing we can do for one another is pray. THEN, take action to help.

God is almighty. He comforts. He sustains. He brings back joy.

Where two or more are gathered so there is Jesus, through the Holy Spirit.

Be vulnerable! Share your story. Reach out and ask for prayer. Let others stand in the gap for you- that you might be strengthened and restored.

Do not go it alone.

Do not quit!

If you do not have people in your life to pray for you– get online. Find a prayer chain. Find a prayer phone line. Take initiative and don’t stop till you are no longer in this alone. Let others help you through.

You and your life are worth it.

Until Next Time~
Blessings Kate
